Last Summer, many cities within the Lower Mainland relaxed their bylaws to enable restaurants and bars to expand their seating to the outside, utilizing designated sidewalk areas, parking lots or green spaces to add safe, socially-distanced spaces for their customers to enjoy a meal or a drink safely. Tents can provide added square footage to your establishment, thereby increasing your seating capacity in a safe manner for your clientele and staff while still following all the Provincial Health Guidelines.

Depending on your available square footage, the ideal tent would either be a Frame Tent or Clear Span structure. Both off the convenience of unobstructed interiors as both are not reliant upon poles to provide strength or stability. Due to the way these units are constructed, they can be set-up on surfaces such as concrete, patio decks or pavement and don’t rely on staking to anchor. Tents for patios, tents for socially-distancing and restaurant tents are all options you have to choose from.
Frame tents are a great choice for expanded seating for your bar or restaurant. They offer protection from the elements and weather and offer the choice of open, partial or full walls, giving you the option of providing full open areas when the weather is nice or utilizing the wall options to create a more protected space when the weather turns inclement. Our frame tents are mildew-resistant, flame-retardant, vinyl laminated fabrics which are easy to keep clean. Frame tents create a versatile and durable space for your business needs.
Clear Span structures are more rigid in construction and provide greater protection from the elements as they are wind-rated up to 90 km/h. They make an ideal choice for larger, longer-term commitments and like our Frame Tents, do not use interior poles or stakes which will enable your staff to maneuver easily between tables and customers.
We also have a choice of Marquee tents which would be suitable for smaller areas and can offer the same comfort as a Frame or Clear Span. Marquee tents do use interior poles for tent stability and are easily set up on pavement, concrete, decking or green space areas. They also come with full, partial, clear or no walls. We also can provide rentals of tables, chairs and other accessories that may be needed to outfit your new space.
